We’re becoming creatures of habit. Starting out in downtown OKC and then heading to an open field with gorgeous light and a gorgeous couple. It’s definitely one of our favorite ways to capture two people in love. There’s just something so romantic about each setting that we can’t pick just one!
Something really special about the first photo location, The Magnolia Room, is that it’s actually part of Jesse and Brooke’s wedding venue! Come April 7, 2018, we’ll be standing in those exact same spots only things will be a little dressier. ;) It will be nothing short of a dream wedding and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it!
Billy and Becca met a few years ago while working at Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, and knew they wanted to get to know each other better before really diving into an official relationship. Trying to keep things low-key, they decided to hang out at a quaint little coffee shop in Siloam Springs so there wouldn’t be any risk of running into a friend or co-worker. Fast forward to this past weekend, the four of us were casually sipping coffee and chatting when we realized that we were sitting at the exact same table where they had their first date! Quite the serendipitous moment!
I’m so glad we were able to sneak in their engagement session on the way home from our little vacation. We had a great time running around Siloam with them and it got us so pumped to be there on their big day to capture even bigger smiles! The wedding will be in the gorgeous Cross Church Pinnacle Hills campus which is very special to them both.
I personally am really excited about these photos because they are so much more than just graduation announcements. They are the picture of tremendous growth and the accomplishment of so many other goals Shayla set for her self along the way. She is an absolutely beautiful person inside and out, and I’m thankful we got to know her better during this shoot!
We had so much fun together! We started shooting in Downtown OKC and then headed over to Stanley Draper field for the most beautiful sunset. It was windy as all get out but she was such a trooper and didn’t let the weather bother her one bit, she just made the wind work for her!
And we actually found out half way through the shoot that she used to do some modeling in high school. Which explains everything! I mean, look at this girl, she’s gorgeous. I just stood back and took a break on this one because she didn’t need any help with posing, she worked the camera!
Hope you enjoyed some of our favorites from Shayla’s grad session. Holler at us to book yours today!
